Nestled in the woods above the rapids on the North Fork of the New River, this new western red cedar log cabin is the perfect place to escape from the demands of life. With over 450 feet of river frontage and 4 secluded private acres, "Roaring River" offers many opportunities for relaxation. From reading on the front deck to swimming, fishing, tubing, or canoeing in the river, you will certainly be entertained during your stay. There are long winding private roads for that evening stroll, or take the walking trail down to the river. The winding walking trail leads to a cedar swing perched on a rock ledge overlooking the rapids. This well equipped cabin features two bedrooms. Each has a private bath, queen bed, and private porch. There is a porch off of the master bedroom with a hot tub! If additional sleeping is needed, there is a queen sleeper sofa in the den. The kitchen has all of the bells and whistles needed to prepare a gourmet meal, and that all important dishwasher to make clean up a snap. Additional amenities include Dish TV, DVD, and a movie collection. There are also games of all kinds to occupy the family. On cool nights, the gas fire logs keep you toasty warm. When it is time for meals, just ring the antique dinner bell to bring the kids off of the river.
